Yet another CUA meetup is happening on Monday January 19th at 6:30 PM, in the community room at Eau Claire Market. I'm excited to say that while I won't be in Calgary, Grant has agreed to chair the meeting. Hooray! Thanks Grant!
Please chat about workshops you would like to have, and things you would like to learn. Pass these things on to me, and I'll try to make them happen.

I'd like to have some experts' shortlist of which specific kinds of vegetable seeds do great/perform well in our challenging Calgary climate. That's what I'd like to know.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to have a meetup in February? I am very interested in what is happening with urban agriculture for the Calgary area.
ReplyDeletethanks!
That's a great idea. I'll see where we can start a resource like that. For now, I'll start a chat line on our facebook group where people can post suggested seeds.
ReplyDeleteThere's been a fair bit of interest, I'll chat with Grant and see what we can do about a February or March meetup. For now, feel free to join the facebook group and participate online:) You're also welcome to help out in any way you care to. If you have ideas for a workshop, can teach one, would like to promote a meetup, or anything really, let me know:) I'm also always looking for people to write articles for the blog if you like.
